Sunday 4th September: Millenium Coastal Path
Start/Distance: 1030am Car Park adjacent to Blackpill Lido, Mumbles Rd, Swansea, approx 75km. 5 hours including stops
Route/GPX download: Cycle Path though Clyne Valley to Gorseinon and Loughor. Millennium Coast Path to Llanelli, Burry Port and Pembrey. Return same. Cafes - close to start at Blackpill, Llanelli, Burry Port and Pembrey.
Terrain/Ride Category: Easy Almost all good tarmac path. Suitable for all bikes.

Start/Distance: Magor free car park at 10am. (NP26 3EP)
40 miles.
Route/GPX download: Ride to Chepstow via lanes and tracks, past Chepstow race course, St Arvans Hill, Tintern for lunch break. Catbrook, Trellech Grange, Devauden, Shirenewton then Magor.

Sunday 18th September: Loops and Dead Ends
Start/Distance: Official start/end: Tonyrefail outside Red Bull pub at 10 am (OS 019881) 52 kms. People wanting a longer ride (~85k) can join me at Lewis Arms, Tongwynlais at 8.45. We will leave Tongwynlais at 8.50!
Route/GPX download: A veritable mystery tour of places you’ve never seen! Mixture of roads, cycle tracks and gravel - you have to push for about 400m! Cafe stop at midday. Can people text me nearer date so I can warn cafe of group size!

We will be based in Carmarthen for the weekend
Day 1
Carmarthen – East along Afon Tywi to Llandeilo – Llangadog – Llandovery – returning via Brechfa Forest – Nantgaredig - Carmarthen. GPX File link Lower Tywi Valley – A stunning route following the route of the river from Carmarthen all the way to Llandovery with plenty of wildlife to spot. Cothi Valley – A more secluded valley with steeper sides and quieter roads. Brechfa climb – The longest continuous climb on the route, relatively gentle at 5% but almost 3 kilometres in distance making it a challenging climb.

Day 2
Carmarthen to Llansteffan return. Approx 20 miles, 1000ft climbing.

Start/Distance: Caerleon Amphitheatre parking at 10.00, 50 miles, 6 hours
Route/GPX download: Caerleon - up Usk Valley, Raglan and Llantilio, Crossenny return via Bettws Newydd. Optional short extension to White Castle. Lunch at Raglan country estate.

Sunday 9th October: Llanwonno Return
Start/Distance: Meet outside Lewis Arms Tongwynlais. 10.00 hrs. 34 miles 5+hrs This ride is by way of a tribute to Dave Miles who died in June. Key sections of the route will be those he discovered and explored. Although not long in distance this ride had a number of steep climbs - all cyclable. We will cycle on mainly tarmacked lanes, cycle trails, A and B roads. Suitable for all bikes.

From October 2022 until late March 2023 it's all about the Spokes autumn/winter season - there are no pre-planned rides or ride leaders. Members meet up every Sunday at 10am at the NEW starting location by Radyr Weir for a ride to be determined by the participants.
